Indivisible Rapid City Hosts Community Food Drive in Partnership with Feeding South Dakota
RAPID CITY, SD — Indivisible Rapid City is stepping up to fight food insecurity with a community food drive on Saturday, April 19, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, at City Hall (300 6th Street, Rapid City). The event is held in partnership with Feeding South Dakota and is part of the organization’s broader mission to build solidarity, justice, and compassion at the grassroots level.
The drive invites community members to “Spread Love & Kindness Together” by donating essential food items to help local families in need. Donations from the wishlist include:
- Family-sized cereals
- Canned meat
- Shelf-stable milk

“This isn’t just about filling shelves—it’s about showing up for our neighbors with love, dignity, and action,” said a local Indivisible volunteer. “Mutual aid is a form of resistance, and we’re proud to be building a community where no one is left behind.”
